This past week, I had the opportunity to capture a full set of aerial photos for the Cracker Barrel located in Kingsland, Georgia. The flight was completed around noon under clear skies, offering great lighting conditions for clean, well-balanced images across a range of altitudes.
The job called for multiple perspectives: vertical “straight down” shots to show the entire layout, wide angles from 400 feet to put the property in broader context, mid-level shots at 100 feet to showcase the building and lot from a closer view, and roof-height angles for detail and elevation. Ground photos were also taken for this project, but for this post, I’ve focused on the aerial side of things.
One particularly nice detail — the parking lot had just been freshly repaved. I had noticed the work being done the day before, and by the time I flew the site, it was complete. The fresh pavement helped give the entire property a clean, updated appearance that really stands out from above.
If you look closely in one of the shots, you’ll also spot the Georgia Coastal Railway passing by in the background — a perfect bonus for anyone who appreciates trains or the character of small-town infrastructure. It added a little more life to the scene and gave the images a sense of place you can’t always plan for.
Whether it’s a restaurant, commercial lot, or retail center, aerial imagery helps tell the full story of a property. If you need high-quality aerial shots for your next listing or business project, Peach to Palm Aerials is here to deliver.
