One of my recent Savannah drone photography projects was a shoot for Cracker Barrel near the Savannah airport. This location presented a unique challenge—it’s situated right by the airport. That meant I had to carefully follow FAA regulations to ensure the shoot was safe and compliant.
To get the job done, I obtained LAANC authorization before flying. Even with approval, airspace restrictions limited how high I could go, so I wasn’t able to reach the full 400 feet. Despite those limits, I was still able to capture high-quality aerial photos and video that showcased the property exactly as needed.
This project was a perfect example of how important it is to balance creativity and compliance in commercial drone operations. At Peach to Palm Aerials, I make sure every flight is both legal and professional, so clients get content they can use with confidence.
If you’re looking for Savannah drone photography in areas with special restrictions—whether it’s near airports, sensitive sites, or complex environments—you can count on me to handle it the right way.
